Anna The Adventuress: An Intriguing Tale Of Mistaken Identity

Reading fiction novels has become highly convenient with the rise of online mediums like Mediavex. Mistaken identity is a theme that has been attempted by many authors. There are many fiction novels in which the underlying theme is that of mistaken identity. But not all authors can do justice to this theme. Many who tried their hand at this theme could not get the exact amount of intrigue to keep the reader's interest.

On the contrary, some writers like E.Phillips Oppenheim have aced this theme of writing. In the book Anna The Adventuress, Phillips takes the concept of mistaken identity to the next level. It is one of the most interesting works of fiction by this author.

Anna The Adventuress, describes the story of two sisters who interchange their roles. It is a case of mistaken identity when Annabel Pellisier, the famous Parisian dancer, leads Sir John Ferringhall to believe that she is her twin sister Anna, a shy art-student. Annabel takes on the flirtatious personality of her sister, a deception that becomes very complicated when the sisters both come to live in London.

The author creates an intricate plot, contrives unexpected situations, admits to his confidence only by gentle and premeditated degrees. He keeps a tight hold on his characters and incidents and compels the absorbed attention of his readers. This novel is full of color, action, and realism. It is an ingeniously imagined story and cleverly written. The author has the gift of invention and keeps his readers on the tenter-hooks of suspense.
